Thursday 12th November 2009 at 10:55PM Some football fields and all weather pitches have been shut down due to lead metal contamination. Asian imports are usually the source of cheaper artificial grass that contains high lead, zinc or chromium content. European manufactured grass is made within recommended EU limits; namely 0.04 milligrams of lead per litre of turf (0.04 mg/l). Artificial Turf from As Good As Grass is completely safe as it contains only 0.01 mg/l.
